Here’s Why You Should Forget About The Money And Focus On Creating Value
When I first started my online entrepreneurship journey, I was having a great time. As a network marketer, I promoted the services of others and didn’t have the overwhelming task of creating products. I had the opportunity to enjoy meeting new folks and building new relationships.
After my online entrepreneurship journey took a few shifts, I somehow ended up creating my own products. I found myself stuck in the creation phase. Between creating products and building sales funnels, I wasn’t having fun anymore.
It wasn’t until I stopped aiming to create the perfect product to make money online and began focusing on creating value for my audience that I began having a great time building my business again. Micheal Clouse said, “people will buy your music before they buy your services.” In essence, people are more attracted to how you speak and the energy you generate when presenting than the actual service you’re promoting.
I discovered that being stuck in the creation phase was just another form of procrastination. The procrastination developed because of a lack of belief in myself. I learned that no amount of money could change my self-reflection. So I decided to stop procrastinating, forget about the money, and have a great time being me.
I set a few key processes in place to autopilot my sales strategy so I could focus on meeting new folks and building relationships.
1st I got really clear on my life goals. I took the time to nail down my values and purpose for serving others. I even wrote a mission statement for my life. Clearly defining my values and understanding my mission helped me commit to the type of business module I can believe in.
My Life’s Mission
“ TO INSPIRE, TRAIN, AND LEAD PEOPLE INTO RIGHT RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD WHILE EFFECTING POSITIVE CHANGE IN THE WORLD AROUND ME BY HELPING PEOPLE DO THE NECESSARY WORK FOR LIVING PRODUCTIVE, PROSPEROUS, FULFILLING, AND PURPOSE DRIVEN LIVES.”
2nd I got really clear on my business goals. I spent time ironing out exactly how much money I wanted to earn and possible ways to earn it. Once I understood what I wanted and how I could get it, I aligned my daily actions to match my desire. I knew exactly what I was working towards each day, and I no longer felt lost. I also aligned my life mission “helping people do the necessary work for living productive, prosperous, fulfilling, and purpose-driven lives,” with my business goals by creating the kind of products that help people implement strategies to get results.
“My goals for my clients are to “help them get un-stuck, help them take productive actions, and help them generate online profits. My income goals for myself are $87, 300.33 of monthly income which I will earn through helping clients get results. Watch the video below.
3rd I outlined my blog strategy. I took time to map out what each of my blogs was supposed to do. I clarified the niche, the target market, the content, the lead magnet or free offer, the upsell, and the overall profits strategy. Watch the video below to discover how you can outline your blog strategy too.
Additionally, I established my primary offers so that my C.T.A.’s or Call To Actions were clear, concise, and consistent. I made sure that my lead offer to “sign up for your Free account,” was a no-brainer. I’m assuming all the risk and the prospect is getting all the value. It’s an “easy peezy” process. Once I had set all my systems in place, I could forget about the money and focus on the value.
When you make your process crystal clear, you’ll find yourself having a lot of fun building your business. If you find yourself desperate to make money online leverage another income stream through a temporary job or something. You don’t want to be under financial pressure if you’re going to build a “value-driven” online business. Your business should be your happy place. You’re building your fortune and your future, so be patient, be resourceful, be diligent, and you’ll eventually reach your goals. Set-up your process; leverage additional income streams, if you need to; then forget about the money and focus on value. Watch the video below for “Contribution Profits.”
